In Civil Air Patrol (CAP), a humanitarian and
educational nonprofit organization, you can serve your community, state and
nation as a civilian volunteer of the Air Force’s auxiliary. Join more than
60,000 members who expand and share their expertise with CAP in a wide variety
of fields.
Cadet Program: Youth 12 to 18 years
old will develop leadership and technical skills, learn about aviation and
enjoy training in search and rescue, model rocketry, physical fitness, sports,
advanced technologies and much more.
Officer Program: Adult members are
part of a diverse team of volunteers. Regardless of existing experience, you
can choose to train in any CAP position that interests you. Opportunities are available in writing,
flying, radio operations, teaching, emergency services, finance, law, and much,
much more.
